FAQ
Are discounted (concession) tickets available?
The museum generally does not offer reduced-price tickets for standard admission. All regular tickets cover both permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. However, certain individuals qualify for free entry (please check the “See free admission conditions” for details). Discounts might be available for specific activities like workshops, guided tours, and events in the auditorium (refer to the “See list of visitors entitled to reduced ticket rates”).
Can I purchase fast-track tickets to avoid queues?
To guarantee entry on your preferred day and minimize waiting, it’s recommended to buy your tickets online in advance. Holders of “Carte Louvre” (including Amis du Louvre, CLEF and CLEF+, Louvre Young Patrons Circle, Louvre Patrons Circle, International Council of the Louvre, Louvre Decorative Arts Circle, Friends of Delacroix, American Friends of the Louvre) have priority access through the Richelieu entrance. Groups with pre-booked time slots also benefit from priority access via the Richelieu entrance.
